Blooming Hearts, Inc.

Love Grows Here

A heart-centered nonprofit cultivating an inclusive, farm-based community where all abilities can live, learn, and grow together.

Our Mission

To cultivate an inclusive, reverent, and sustainable community where individuals of all abilities thrive side-by-side — living with purpose, dignity, and joy while honoring the spiritual essence within every person.

We are guided by the heart, supported by mind, body, and spirit, as we weave together the unique strengths of each individual into a shared life of connection, creativity, and contribution.

"When love is planted, healing begins — and hearts bloom again."

Our Vision

The Blooming Heart Project imagines a long-term residential community for disabled adults set on a working farm — a living example of integration, compassion, and stewardship of the land. Rooted in Monkton, Maryland, our vision is to transform historic acreage into a vibrant home and gathering place where people live, work, and play in harmony with the earth and one another.

Heart-Centered

Compassion and connection lead every decision.

Integrated Community

"Abled" and "disabled" together — no separation, only belonging.

Purpose & Growth

Meaningful work, lifelong learning, and wisdom from the natural world.
